In Loving Memory of Tootsie

Tootsie, a/k/a Tutu, arrived at ICR both extremely overweight and with a very bad case of separation anxiety, such that she would shriek and howl at the back door whenever she was outside.  After several months, she became more secure, lost most of her excess weight, and seemed to be glowing with health.  However, suddenly she seemed to become incontinent.  After thorough testing, our vet found that she had Cancer of the Urethra and had lost the ability to urinate on her own.  He recommended that she be let go. Our Tootsie was truly beautiful!   Aly Posner, ICR
